One of the oldest and most successful means of promotion is old-fashioned word of mouth. Your word is just as valuable as that of others. People who have seen your blog may tell others about it and that will prompt more visitors to the site. Your word of mouth will accomplish the same.

Find a magazine that publishes content related to your business and try out your ideas on the editors. Publishing a press release is easier. Once you write the release, send it to newspapers and publications who can produce it in print.

Attend a blogging event. Look for related events in your area where you will have the opportunity to network with other bloggers. It’s a great way to share tips, techniques and information as well as conduct a little self promotion while you’re at it.

Lastly, for this post at least, set up your own blogging group. When you do this, you open up a host of possibilities when you involve others. Your money making blog can be very successful through the use of a group because you will be blogging with others who share in your topic of interest and will be able to gain promotion.
